3 The member of the Central Election Commission who has been registered as a candidate for the Presidency of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a candidate for deputy of the Legislative Chamber, a candidate for membership of the Senate or a proxy shall be considered as leaving the membership in the Commission. 6 The following persons shall not be registered as a candidate for the deputy of local Kengashes: citizens whose state of conviction for committing grave or particularly grave crimes was not completed or not canceled; citizens not residing permanently in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the last five years before election day; military personnel of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan, employees of the State Security Service, the National Guard, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan and other paramilitary units; professional servicemen of religious organizations and associations.
