1 Election constituencies for the election of the deputies of the Legislative Chamber shall be formed by the Central Election Commission upon the proposal of the Jokarghy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Kengashes of people’s deputies of regions and Tashkent city. 12 The powers of khokims of regions, districts, cities shall include: 1) execution of the Constitution and the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan and decisions of the chambers of the Oliy Majlis, decrees, resolutions and orders of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers, higher khokims and relevant Kengashes of people’s deputies; 2) implementation of measures aimed at ensuring the economic, social, cultural and environmental development of the territories; 3) formation and execution of the local budget; 4) exercise of other powers provided for by this Constitution and laws.
