| 4 | (1) It shall be unlawful for any person knowingly and willfully— (A) to furnish any false, fictitious, or fraudulent evidence, books, or information to the Commission under this subtitle, or to include in any evidence, books, or information so furnished any misrepresentation of a material fact, or to falsify or conceal any evidence, books, or information relevant to a certification by the Commission or an examination and audit by the Commission under this chapter; or (B) to fail to furnish to the Commission any records, books, or information requested by it for purposes of this chapter. | 6 | Chairperson of the Central Election Commission Chairperson of the Central Election Commission shall: carry out the administration of the activity of the Central Election Commission; call meetings of the Central Election Commission, preside over them, distribute functions among members of the Commission; invite representatives and officials of state bodies, political parties and other public associations, organizations to participate in meetings of the Central Election Commission; act on behalf of the Central Election Commission in relations with the state bodies, international organizations and public associations; present information to the chambers of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan on outcomes of the election of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan; sign the resolutions and other documents of the Central Election Commission; distribute the funds allocated from the State budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan for provision of the activities of the Central Election Commission and controls their purposeful use; open the first meeting of the Legislative Chamber and the Senate respectively, and preside over it until the election of the Speaker of the Legislative Chamber and the chairperson of the Senate.
